Nexity revenue falls 17% as it opens financing-extension talks

Nexity ($NXI) reported revenue for the first nine months of 2026 of €1.61 billion, down 17%, as lower activity on development projects outweighed growth in serviced properties. French residential reservations fell 17% to 5,394 units, while the backlog stood at approximately €3.5 billion, equivalent to 1.6 years of revenue. The company said the housing-market downturn had become deeper and more prolonged.

Nexity has begun negotiations with its banks to extend its €625 million credit facility and completion guarantees, with an agreement expected in the coming weeks. These extensions have not yet been finalised. The group is also reviewing businesses outside property development, its brand portfolio and overhead costs. It maintained its 2026 expectations for improved operating profitability, supported by restored project margins and a €100 million cost-savings programme, subject to no significant further market deterioration. Management’s plan does not assume a housing-market recovery this year.
