Oxford Metrics names Stefan Lampa as incoming CEO and establishes interim leadership
Oxford Metrics announced a chief-executive transition on 7 September 2026.
Leadership timetable
Stefan Lampa is expected to join as CEO and director in early December 2026, subject to regulatory due diligence and UK work-authorisation requirements.
Imogen O'Connor steps down as CEO immediately. Chair Gary Bullard becomes interim CEO during the transition. O'Connor will support projects during 2026 and subsequently provide consultancy support.
Lampa's background includes leadership roles at ProGlove, KUKA, ABB and Kalmar.
Why this matters
The incoming CEO brings industrial automation and technology experience relevant to Oxford Metrics' motion-capture and vision-metrology businesses. The interim arrangement also places the chair in an executive role until the new appointment takes effect.
Today's announcement does not change financial targets or establish a new quantified strategy. The key next steps are completion of the appointment conditions, a smooth handover and clarity on priorities across Vicon and the group's metrology activities.
Any earnings implications need to be assessed through future operating updates, rather than inferred from the appointment alone.
