Power Probe’s margins improve as first-half sales and EBITDA decline
Power Probe ($PWR-LSE) reported first-half revenue of $17.7 million, down from $21.2 million, and adjusted EBITDA of $3.8 million versus $5.5 million. Gross margin nevertheless increased to 50.4% from 40.8%, supported by a stronger branded-product mix and repricing. The company’s financial statements therefore show better unit economics alongside lower total sales and earnings.
Management highlighted a product-launch schedule weighted toward the second half and progress on US manufacturing in Charlotte. The board declared an interim dividend of 2.16 US cents per share, equivalent to 1.60 pence. The update does not quantify a new full-year earnings upgrade. Planned launches and manufacturing development remain factors for the subsequent period rather than proof that the first-half revenue shortfall has already been recovered.
