Quadrise launches strategic review after annual loss widens
Quadrise ($QED) launched a review of partnerships, investment and financing options as it reported a £4.2 million after-tax loss for the year ended June 2026, compared with £3.1 million previously. Cash at year-end was £2.1 million, down from £5.9 million. The fuel-technology developer expects its resources, including a subsequent equity raise, to last until September 2027 if operations and financing progress as planned.
Options include technology licensing, joint ventures, a minority strategic investor and acquiring related businesses. Quadrise is not seeking takeover offers, and no offer period has begun. Its accounts identify material uncertainty over going concern because further funding will be needed before sustainable positive cash flow. Marine trials with MSC and Cargill are targeted for the first quarter of 2027, with agreements and commercial arrangements still outstanding.
