Quilter’s quarterly core inflows approach £2.9 billion as assets rise
Quilter ($QLT) reported assets under management and administration of £160.5 billion, up 19% year on year. Quarterly core net inflows increased to £2.891 billion from £2.227 billion, while reported net inflows rose to £2.737 billion from £2.118 billion. Across the first nine months, core inflows reached approximately £8.85 billion, 31% higher and close to the £9.1 billion generated in the whole of the preceding year.
The platform business attracted around £2.6 billion during the quarter, up 25%, taking year-to-date platform flows to approximately £8 billion. Adviser productivity increased 9%. These figures indicate stronger distribution and asset gathering, which can support future fee income. However, assets under management are not recognized revenue, and the update does not establish a matching percentage increase in earnings. Reported and core flows are also distinct measures and should not be treated as interchangeable.
