RentGuarantor confirms its expanded board and new executive responsibilities

RentGuarantor confirmed on 7 September 2026 that board changes originally announced on 29 July have taken effect.

The new structure

Ben Thompson, Maya Klein Wassink and Simon Jackson join as independent non-executive directors.

Amanda Bower becomes an executive director with responsibility as chief people and risk officer. David Cliff moves from a non-executive position to an executive role covering research and innovation.

Why this is relevant

The appointments add financial-services, property and governance experience while giving people, risk and innovation explicit executive representation.

The distinction between independent oversight and executive responsibility matters: Cliff's new position changes his role in the governance structure, while the three new independent directors add non-executive oversight.

This announcement confirms implementation of previously disclosed changes. It does not publish new trading figures, customer-growth data or earnings guidance.

The next test is how the expanded board supports growth, risk management and operating delivery, assessed through subsequent financial and business updates.
