Rexel raises sales and margin targets as US data-centre demand accelerates
Rexel ($RXL) increased its 2026 guidance after third-quarter sales reached €5.45 billion, up 14.6% as reported and 11.4% at constant currencies and on a same-day basis. US sales grew 18.2% on the latter measure, with data-centre revenue more than doubling and accounting for approximately 13% of US sales. Europe increased 4.5%, and Asia-Pacific grew 15.8%.
The electrical distributor now expects full-year same-day sales growth of about 7%, compared with roughly 5% previously, and a current adjusted EBITA margin of at least 6.4%, up from at least 6.2%. Its free-cash-flow conversion target remains above 65%. Both volume and price increases supported the quarter, so the sales acceleration should not be attributed solely to pricing. The targets remain forecasts for the full year rather than achieved annual results.
