XCF agrees to acquire California renewable-fuel plant and outlines restart spending
XCF Global ($SAFX) agreed to acquire a renewable-fuel facility in Paramount, California, through New Rise Renewables Paramount. The company anticipates approximately $30 million of spending to restart the plant and expects the restart process to take nine to twelve months. It is targeting transaction completion by year-end, subject to the applicable closing conditions. The announcement does not establish that the acquisition has already closed or that the plant is producing fuel.
A partnership with BGN is intended to support feedstock supply and offtake arrangements. Those commercial links could help the facility return to operation, but the restart schedule remains an execution target. The estimated $30 million relates to restart investment, not the purchase price, which was not disclosed in the announcement. The proposed expansion could enlarge XCF’s production base while creating additional capital requirements before operating revenue is generated.
