Groupe SEB specifies annual profit growth as cost savings lift earnings
Groupe SEB ($SK) reported sales for the first nine months of 2026 of €5.71 billion, up 0.8% as reported and 1.1% at constant exchange rates and scope. Operating result from activity increased 25% to €333 million, including a 9% rise to €161 million in the third quarter. The appliance group delivered €35 million of cost savings under its Rebound programme during the first nine months.
Management now expects 2026 operating-result growth of 5–10%, refining its previous forecast of growth without a numerical range. It also retained expectations for more normal free cash flow and lower leverage, with a target around two times by 2027. Quarterly sales increased 2.5% as reported to €1.96 billion but slipped 0.1% organically, showing that the profit improvement depends significantly on execution and cost savings while underlying demand remains subdued.
