SKYX agrees to buy Deako with shares, cash and a lender note
SKYX ($SKYX) signed a merger agreement with Deako, a smart-home and lighting-technology supplier serving more than 50 US homebuilders. Deako generated more than $26 million in revenue in 2025 and shipped over 32 million units during the past five years. The proposed combination would connect its builder distribution network with SKYX’s plug-and-play ceiling and smart-home products.
SKYX plans to issue 25 million common shares, pay Deako’s lender $4 million at closing and issue an $8.5 million note. Existing SKYX shareholders are expected to own 84.4% of the combined company, with Deako shareholders and its lender holding 15.6%. The agreement therefore brings both dilution and future cash obligations. Claimed cross-selling opportunities and cost savings remain prospective; the announcement is not confirmation that the merger has closed.
