Soluna and Bitdeer expand Texas co-mining deployment to 35 MW
Soluna Holdings ($SLNH) and Bitdeer ($BTDR) have amended their agreement at Project Kati 1 in Texas to add approximately 7 megawatts of Bitcoin-mining equipment. The expansion takes Bitdeer’s planned deployment at the site to 35 MW and approximately 2.42 exahashes per second of computing capacity. Completion is expected in November, and the agreement fully subscribes the project’s K1BC development phase.
The commercial structure is co-mining: Soluna supplies the location, power and operating services, while Bitdeer owns and supplies its mining machines. The parties share mining proceeds rather than receiving a disclosed fixed-value contract payment. The extra deployment improves utilization of the wind-powered facility, but the projected hash rate is not already operating capacity and future revenue will depend on deployment performance and the economics of Bitcoin mining.
