Sony refreshes three headphone tiers and announces a Hello Kitty collection

Sony Electronics announced headphone launches and a limited-edition collaboration on 7 September 2026.

Product range and US pricing

The XM4C builds on the XM4 platform with updated tuning, a ten-band equaliser and refreshed colours, with availability planned for this fall.

The CH730N adds a foldable design and improvements to calls and battery life. The CH530 refreshes the lower-priced range with additional colours and everyday-use improvements. Sony lists the CH730N and CH530 as available from September.

Hello Kitty collaboration

A separate Sony Store-exclusive collection will bundle selected WH-1000XM6, WH-CH730N and WH-CH530 models with themed carrying cases and tote bags.

Preorders are planned for later in the holiday season. The announcement describes limited availability but does not give a quantified production run or revenue target.
