The company describes eight tests conducted by Intertek India, including accelerated ageing of d2w polyethylene under ASTM D5208, soil testing under ISO 17556 and earthworm and plant assessments using OECD methods.
It reports extensive mineralisation, no detected microplastics in the stated analytical examinations and no adverse effects in the specified organism tests.
Limits of the announcement
These are the company's reported laboratory findings. They should not be generalised to all plastics, disposal settings or real-world soil conditions. Accelerated pre-ageing, test duration and detection methods matter when interpreting the outcome.
There is also a timeline issue in the release: it describes a February 2025–May 2026 programme while citing a 600-day soil-test result. The underlying laboratory report or a company clarification is needed to reconcile those statements.
The next useful evidence is the full test documentation, including sample preparation, controls, dates and detection limits. Today's release alone does not quantify new sales, customer contracts or an earnings impact.
