Tectonic reports early safety data for vascular-disease antibody

Tectonic Therapeutic ($TECX) reported favorable Phase Ia safety findings for TX2100, an experimental antibody being developed for hereditary hemorrhagic telangiectasia, an inherited vascular disorder. Across six single-dose cohorts in healthy volunteers, adverse events were described as transient and mild or moderate, with no deaths, serious adverse events or severe treatment-emergent events. Anti-drug-antibody results remain pending.

The findings support selecting doses for patient studies but do not establish that the treatment reduces bleeding or improves outcomes in the disease. Tectonic plans to begin an open-label Phase Ib study in patients needing hematologic support by year-end and a parallel Phase II trial in early 2027. The company also disclosed FDA Fast Track designation and clearance to conduct the US patient trial. Neither designation nor permission to test the medicine constitutes marketing approval.
