TF1 earnings fall as digital advertising growth fails to offset broader weakness

TF1 ($TFI) reported nine-month 2026 revenue of €1.454 billion, down 9% as reported and 6.6% at constant currencies and business scope. Attributable net profit fell to €71.2 million from €122.5 million, while current operating profit declined to €105.8 million from €182.4 million. Advertising revenue decreased 9% to €1.022 billion, reflecting sustained pressure on the television advertising market.

Digital services provided a partial offset: TF1+ advertising revenue increased 19% over nine months to €159.6 million, with third-quarter growth accelerating to 20.5% as the Netflix ($NFLX) distribution partnership contributed. The group retained its 2026 objectives despite limited visibility. Management also tested its media-business goodwill after weaker linear advertising trends and revised margin assumptions, but the exercise did not require an impairment charge in the reported accounts.
