Transgene reports €92.8 million in liquidity as vaccine development advances
Transgene ($TNG) reported €92.8 million in cash, cash equivalents and other current financial assets at its half-year end, compared with €111.9 million at the start of the year. First-half cash burn increased to €20.3 million from €18.8 million, while its net loss narrowed to €15.7 million from €19.3 million. Management expects current resources to fund existing plans into early 2028.
The company is advancing individualized cancer vaccines based on its myvac platform. TG4050’s Phase 2 study is fully enrolled, with results expected in the first quarter of 2028, while all sites are open for TG4070’s Phase 1 lung-cancer trial. The financial runway is a planning estimate, not a guarantee of funding every potential future trial. The update sets out cash resources and trial progress without reporting new efficacy results.
