Ultimate Products confirms Simon Harrison's arrival ahead of the October CEO handover
Ultimate Products announced on 7 September 2026 that Simon Harrison joined as CEO designate on 5 September.
Handover dates
Harrison will formally become chief executive on 26 October, succeeding Andrew Gossage. Gossage will take a short sabbatical and return as a non-executive director from 1 May 2027.
Harrison joins from Princes Group, where he was CEO, and brings more than 25 years of consumer-goods experience across commercial functions and operations.
What this confirms
The announcement implements the previously disclosed succession plan. It marks the start of the induction period, rather than an immediate change in the acting chief executive.
His initial engagement at IFA Berlin provides exposure to the company's products and customers, but the announcement does not disclose new orders arising from the event.
The next checkpoints are the October handover and any strategic priorities communicated through subsequent trading updates. No earnings-guidance change was announced today.
