Victrex targets a five-year recovery in margins and cash generation
Victrex ($VCT-LSE) set out a five-year plan targeting mid-single-digit organic revenue growth, a gross margin of around 50% and an operating margin in the mid-20s by fiscal 2031. The specialty-polymer producer aims to generate approximately £250 million in cumulative levered free cash flow between fiscal 2027 and 2031, with at least 75% intended for shareholder returns.
The company plans capital expenditure equivalent to 5–8% of revenue and would consider selective acquisitions after its recovery is established. It outlined a 30-pence annual dividend for fiscal 2026, including a 16.58-pence final payment. These are strategic goals and proposed capital-allocation measures, not evidence that the target margins or cumulative cash generation have already been delivered. Execution of the turnaround remains central to the plan.
