VEON and Kyivstar join MeetKai’s six-country sovereign-AI rollout

MeetKai announced a six-country rollout of its locally hosted AI platform, working with VEON ($VEON) and its operators in five markets and with SERPRO in Brazil. Kyivstar ($KYIV), VEON’s majority-owned Ukrainian subsidiary, will partner on a Ukrainian AI data center using NVIDIA computing infrastructure. Initial capacity is planned for 2027, with a design intended to scale from 15 to 100 megawatts as demand develops.

The platform is designed to keep models and data within each country and serve governments, enterprises and telecom customers. The announcement sets out a deployment program rather than confirming that all six national installations are operating. Financial terms were not disclosed, and the larger capacity figure is an expansion plan, not current installed output.
