Voltalia reaches its capacity target early as electricity output jumps
Voltalia ($VLTSA) reported third-quarter 2026 revenue of €177.4 million, up 9% as reported and 6% at constant exchange rates. Electricity production increased 29% to approximately 1.7 terawatt-hours, benefiting from new power plants, improved resources and less production curtailment. Energy Sales revenue rose 26% at constant currencies to €111.5 million, with quarterly curtailment down 41%.
The renewable-power group reached 3.0 gigawatts of operating capacity by the end of September, achieving its annual target one quarter early, with another 563 megawatts under construction. However, Renvolt revenue declined 21% to €53.9 million because of the timing of construction milestones. Voltalia maintained its full-year 2026 EBITDA target of €210–230 million while continuing cost controls and asset-disposal processes under its transformation plan. The confirmed profit target remains prospective, and construction activity does not generate revenue evenly across quarters.
