Verici plans another equity raise as testing growth fails to offset licensing decline

Verici Dx ($VRCI) announced plans for a further equity fundraising alongside first-half results showing revenue of approximately $1.8 million, versus $1.9 million previously. Tutivia testing revenue increased 53% to $1.77 million, but the prior period included $0.75 million of licensing income. The adjusted EBITDA loss widened to $3.5 million from $2.8 million, and operating cash use reached $3.8 million.

Half-year cash was $2.4 million despite an equity raise completed during June. The proposed new financing is intended to sustain commercial expansion, marketing and working capital; its price and final share count have not been determined. Trading is scheduled to pause under AIM’s Capital Access Window from October 1 pending the outcome. Improving test adoption is meaningful, but it has not yet translated into self-funded operations, and the new proceeds remain conditional on completing the bookbuild.
