Bristol Myers reports sustained two-year Sotyktu responses in psoriatic arthritis
Bristol Myers ($BMY) Squibb presented two-year follow-up from the POETYK PsA-2 extension study of Sotyktu in psoriatic arthritis. Among patients continuously receiving treatment, the ACR20 response rate was 76.2% using observed data and 65.3% when missing outcomes were counted as nonresponses. Minimal disease activity was reported in 51.2% and 43.7%, respectively, under those two approaches.
The differing percentages reflect analytical methods, not separate head-to-head treatment comparisons. The extension was open-label, so its 104-week results should not be described as a new randomized placebo-controlled comparison. In the broader safety population, serious adverse events occurred in 12.6% of patients, and the company reported no new safety signals. The update supports longer-term assessment of response durability and safety without establishing a cure or superiority over other treatments.
