Polar Capital sets out board and committee succession ahead of its AGM
Polar Capital announced changes to its board on 7 September 2026.
Appointments
Fiona Fry and David Melvin will join as non-executive directors after the 24 September AGM.
Fry brings regulatory, compliance and risk experience from financial-services and advisory organisations. Melvin's experience includes corporate finance, investment banking and investment businesses.
Committee succession
Win Robbins will step down after completing nine years on the board. Existing director Andrew Ross succeeds her as remuneration-committee chair.
Fry will take over from Alexa Coates as audit and risk committee chair in the new year, following a transition period.
Shareholder relevance
The changes refresh board expertise and establish committee handovers. They are appointments to Polar Capital itself, rather than notices about directors taking unrelated external roles.
Today's announcement does not change assets-under-management figures or earnings guidance. Investors should follow implementation of the appointments and continuing oversight of business performance, remuneration and risk.
